SEL: In May, we celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. We will also focus on Mental Health Awareness Month.
Reading: As we put the finishing touches on our persuasive essays, we will continue to practice reading strategies, learn vocabulary, answer comprehension questions, and practice our RACES paragraph response writings with stories about settling the West.
Science: This week, our focus will be on wrapping up the "role of decomposers" before heading into the second section of our Ecosystems unit called Energy in Ecosystems.
Social Studies: Chapter 8 is all about the road to the Revolutionary War.
Math: Our Unit 7 Test is scheduled for Monday, May 11th. Then we will move right into our last unit of the year! Unit 8 is called Describing Data. Click here to learn more about Unit 8.
