I hope you have an amazing summer. Thank you for all of your support this year! It was a good one!
6/1/26 - Chromebooks and chargers collected
6/2/26 - Last day of math
6/3/26 - Last day of school/Clap out at approximately 11:15am
Note: On June 1st, I will give each of my math and ELA students a letter from IXL detailing how to access the program from their own device over the summer. It will also have each student's login and password on it. If you want your learner to stay sharp over the summer, I recommend having them work on IXL skills from the Action Plan. Students should also complete 10-15 diagnostic questions each week to keep the IXL program calibrated and up-to-date for each specific learner. If nothing else, this is a great way to get learners back into the swing of things in early August.
Reading: To wrap up the year, we'll read A Pioneer Sampler: The Daily Life of a Pioneer Family in 1840.
Science: Mrs. Gemmell will join us one last time to help us learn about the "Energy Transfer in Ecosystems."
Social Studies: Chapter 9 is all about "Winning the Revolution."
Math: We do not have enough math classes left to test Unit 8. We will move as far as we can through the unit before summer.
