Friday, May 22nd, is our field trip to Naper Settlement. Students should dress for the weather and bring a completely disposable lunch.
SEL: In May, we celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. We will also focus on Mental Health Awareness Month.
Reading: In our 4th Module, we will continue to practice reading strategies, learn vocabulary, answer comprehension questions, and practice our RACES paragraph response writings with stories about settling the West.
Science: Energy in Ecosystems features lessons "Earth's Major Systems," "Cycles of Matter in Ecosystems," and "Energy Transfer in Ecosystems."
Social Studies: Chapter 8 is all about the road to the Revolutionary War.
