5/26/25 - 5/30/25

I hope you have a safe and relaxing summer.  Thank you for all of your support this year!

5/28/25 - Last day of math/Chromebooks and chargers collected

5/29/25 - Field Day

5/30/25 - Last day of school/Clap out at approximately 11:15am

Reading:  Our vocabulary, reading, and writing will revolve around texts and videos about people settling in the West, and our essential question will be "What character traits were needed in people who settled the West?"  To wrap up the year, we'll study a video on homesteading.  Then we'll read A Pioneer Sampler The Daily Life of a Pioneer Family in 1840.

Science:  Our last science topic of the year is called Stars and Their Patterns and will wrap up with a STEM challenge in which students model a constellation.

Social Studies:  We will dip into Chapter 7 and learn a little bit about the French and Indian War.

Math:  We do not have enough math classes left to test Unit 4.  We will use our last couple of days of math to wrap up division and bounce around various skills that students will use next year.
