2/3/25 - 2/7/25

Reading:  We will tackle a few more grammar lessons and finish with The Poem That Will Not End: Fun with Poetic Forms and Voices before moving into Module 3:  Natural Disasters.  As always our ELA time provides us with opportunities to respond to texts in complete sentences and full paragraphs, practice vocabulary, and work on our reading skills.  Amira and IXL are essential in helping us build our skills.

Science:  Our Earth's Patterns and Movement unit is off to a great start!

Social Studies:  Chapter 5 of the textbook is called "The Struggle to Found Colonies."

Math:  Module 1 focuses on whole number and decimal place value" while Module 2 is about adding and subtracting decimals.  Working on math IXL Action Plan skills is one of the best ways for my math students to build those foundational skills that will help them for years to come.
