5/20/24 - 5/24/24

I hope you have a safe and relaxing summer.  Thank you for all of your support this year!

5/22/24 - Last day of math

5/23/24 - Field Day

5/24/24 - Last day of school

Reading:  Our vocabulary, reading, and writing will revolve around texts and videos about people settling in the West, and our essential question will be "What character traits were needed in people who settled the West?"

Math: We're going to be about 2 days short of finishing Unit 4, which means we won't have time for an end-of-unit test.  We will use our last couple of days of math to bounce around various skills that students will use next year including multiplying and dividing fractions.

Science:  We will continue working on a STEM unit in which students will build their own "mini-mini-golf" course.

Social Studies:  Chapter 6 will help us dig more deeply into life in the English colonies.  If we have time, we will dip into Chapter 7 and learn a little bit about the French and Indian War.
